Jazz Sketch

Right, inspiration has struck, I ran into this awesome experiment, train jazz and was blown away by the beauty of the sounds, it turns out they were using spessa synth to get those beautiful tones, which honestly sound (understandably I guess as they are sampled) so much better than my tonejs wave creations.

Once I had that, a path was relatively clear, I used a lot of the same logic from my sound wave drawer toy, but this time, used it to (with some bias for jazzy sounds) place notes upon the stave. And then play! Again the playing also has a little “play before the note, play after the note” to mix things up.

After the full play though, we will mix up the keys, and the notes a little bit, so bumble on through to a derivative composition.

I will have to play around with Spessa Synth a lot more now, to learn its ropes!
