Stranger Arp

Not a lot of guessing behind this one, first I wanted to make stranger things noises, and then I middlingly failed. Wrapped it up, bon’apettie. The arp pattern is pretty simple, just up and down, but the sound is pretty fun, and the reverb adds a nice wash to it. Nowhere near what I wanted, and basically fell down on not really knowing a ton about how this stuff works. Perhaps there’s some limitations on the web audio api, but very likely just my understanding of it is extremely poor. More exerpimenting needed on my side, and will hopefully come back with a few more updates.

Tech/Algos

• Tone.js with reverb for the retro wash
• Basic appegio patterns
• I will try to add more, or completely revisit. Need more wrinkles in my smooth brain.

A note or two

In some good ways, this one decided the larger theme I’m going for across the site. A retro-wave neon look.
